Brown Bear
Brown bears can be recognized by their distinct hump above the shoulders. They also have
longer claws than a black bear. A brown bear has a dark brown coat and the different
sexes look almost identical. A couple of Brown Bear sub-species are called the Grizzly bear
and the Alaskan brown bear (Kodiak Bear).
