Deer Senses
Deer use their excellent sense of vision, smell and hearing to stay out of danger. With the
help of the wind, deer can detect odors from a long range. It is important to factor the wind
direction in your preparation for a hunt. Deer can also detect the smallest movement
during daytime and nighttime hours. Their vision is excellent at night.
