Deer Tracking
To help you learn the daily movement patterns of deer, it is important to find out what
tracks they leave behind. Adult deer tracks are usually about 3 inches long. Here is a link
to whitetails.com with a great tracking chart for deer.
You should be able to find trails between their bedding and feeding areas. Their beds are
oval-shaped and will be about 3 to 4 feet long. Their droppings will be in clusters and they
are typically a 1/2 inch to 1 inch long.
