Elk
Elk are a popular animal to hunt in the western part of the United States and Canada. These
animals are very big with a tan body and dark brown head and neck region. Their antlers are
very impressive and some bulls have antlers that reach beyond 5 feet long. If there antlers
have 6 points on each antler, they are called royal elk; 7 points are called imperial elk; 8
points are called monarchs. There are numerous subspecies located throughout the different
regions.
