FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Where are we located? We are located on Eastern Lake Ontario on the Little salmon River On Mexico Bay.
- What do I need to bring for the trip? Rain gear, warm clothing (Spring and Fall), your lunch and a beverage. We supply all the fishing tackle.
- How big is the boat? Our boat is a 30 ft. Sportcraft with a 10 ft. beam.
- How many fish do you catch in a day? We try to catch you as many fish as we can while we have you out on the lake. This could be a few or many. This is why they call it fishing.
- What is the best time of the day, morning or afternoon? Both mornings and afternoons have peak times. Afternoon trips have the advantage sometimes due to knowing where to go from the morning trip.
- Do I need a fishing license? Yes you need a New York fishing license.
- How big are the fish we catch? This depends on the species, but Lake Ontario is noted for its trophy fish. We always strive to get you the biggest, toughest, meanest fish in the lake.
- What kind of tackle will we be using? You could be using custom made light weight downrigger rods with Penn reels or medium action downrigger rods. Rods are 8 to 9 ft. long.
- Do we fish in the rain? Yes, the fish are always wet, they don't know its raining. The only thing that keeps us in is the high seas and thunder storms.
- Can I bring my girlfriend or wife, and or my kids? Yes, we have facilities to accommodate your mate. We enjoy having the lady fisherwoman on the boat. Most of the time, my mate is a woman, (my wife).
